What can a life coach offer me?

To answer this question, let’s start with what everyone else can offer you so that the difference is clear.  Your family and close friends know you well, they care, and they will give you suggestions or advice.  Professional service providers help in specific areas:

  • A counselor will help you deal with the past and become whole.
  • A financial planner will tell you how to manage your finances.
  • An attorney will help you with legal challenges or estate planning.
  • A realtor will help you buy or sell a home or investment property.

In each of these cases, the professional service provider is the expert and in the lead when working with you on what you want.

So what does a coach offer?

A coach is your strategic partner and an accountability partner.

A coach has completed coaching certification to provide a specific process that puts you in the lead for determining what you want and how to achieve it.

A coach recognizes you know yourself best and are your own best expert.

A coach builds your confidence and empowers you to be proactive moving toward what you want.

A life coach has completed coach training and will partner with you for transition, skill development, balance, and more.  A professional trained life coach is your best tool for creating meaningful change.
