Health and Wellness Coaching Processes

Health and Wellness Coaching Processes

The initial exploration of coaching includes a coach learning about the client and their objectives plus the client learning about the coach’s expertise and coaching process. The roles are defined and expectations are explored before formally engaging in the relationship with an agreement.

In Health and Wellness Coaching, the client explores all of the areas of their life because they are influencing factors in their health and wellness. Additionally, there is a deeper self-inventory in terms of health and wellness. Of course this is shared with the coach so they effectively partner with the client in developing their strategies for moving forward and begin taking action.Health and Wellness Coaching Processes

During the coaching relationship the client is determining what professional services make sense when, which service providers share information and how, what their priorities are, and ultimately the client creates their own plan.

On a consistent basis the coach is reviewing progress, celebrating successes, supporting the client in making appropriate changes, and continuing to plan. The coach and the client collaborate in the exploration of different opportunities, tools, and methodologies that work for the client. The coach supports the client in their active experimentation with approaches for meeting their objectives.

The coaching process supports the client in their own decision making, self-management, and in creating meaningful, sustainable change.
