Including a live Q&A and an opportunity to take the Kids DISC Assessment!

Introduction to Kids DISC

In the webinar, CEO Brandon Parker will share his eye-opening, personal experience using the Kids DISC assessment with his 10-year-old daughter. We’ll have plenty of nuts-and-bolts information packed into this webinar as well. Cathy Hanson, Director of Instructional Design & Certification, will walk you through the report sections. Putting Parents at the Center of Support: The Value of ADHD Parent Coaching

Tuesday June 15, 2021 at 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Eastern (US and Canada)

Often times parents of children who have ADHD reach out for support for their children, however they themselves are unaware of the full impact ADHD has on learning and behavior. This creates a situation where the parent is not able to be effective and, in some cases, may unintentionally exacerbate the challenges that the child faces. This presentation will address the value of Parent centered interventions.

  • Evaluate whether parent and child would be best served if the parent receives the primary support
  • Allow parents to recognize the impact their own perspective and practices may be unintentionally interfering with the wellbeing of their child’s development
  • Assist parents in appropriately partnering with their child’s support team
  • Gain a framework for coaching parents that will educate and support parents on an individual and group basis.
