He is author/editor of 9 books, including Transcend: The New Science of Self-Actualization, and is host of the #1 psychology podcast in the world— The Psychology Podcast— which has received over 17 million downloads. Dr. Kaufman received a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Yale University and has taught courses on intelligence, cognitive science, creativity, and well-being at Columbia University, Yale, NYU, the University of Pennsylvania, and elsewhere. In 2015, he was named one of “50 groundbreaking scientists who are changing the way we see the world” by Business Insider.

Fear and Love in Supervision

Join the Coaching Supervision Community of Practice and Robin Shohet for an experiential webinar all about “seeing what is really there, through a lens of love.” We block this Love from our awareness because of fear. We are often much more frightened than we acknowledge. As a result, we might withhold in Supervision, or we may believe we do not need Supervision. Sometimes, we project onto the word Supervision that it is about “checking up”, when all the while, Supervision is meant to be a place to deeply connect with ourselves, our supervisors/supervisees and our clients.

Robin Shohet Instructor

Robin Shohet has been supervising and training supervisors since 1976 and has published widely in the field, including co-authoring Supervision in the Helping Professions and editing Passionate Supervision and Supervision as Transformation. In addition to teaching supervision, he works with Appreciative Inquiry as part of a commitment to wanting to see people flourish at work. His latest book, co-written with Joan Shohet, In Love with Supervision was published in 2020.

Each Certified Professional Coach tracks their own continuing education clock hours and submits the information for their 12 clock hours every two years.  All ICF programs are accepted.  Additional programs outside of CCC may be eligible - please include a class agenda and proof of satisfactory completion.

The full program fee to earn your Certified Professional Coach designation is $1895. This includes the five webinars and live class required for certification, plus two optional webinars after certification, and access to the Coaches page on this site with tools, session questionnaires, and more. Inclusion in the Find a Certified Coach database is optional.

Cancellation Policy: In the event you must cancel participation, up to seven days prior to the start of the first program webinar you may request a refund of the amount less a twenty percent processing fee; six days or less prior to the start of the first program webinar you may request a refund of fifty percent of the registration. You may transfer your full registration to someone else up to three days prior to the start of the first webinar.
