ACC Path Program Overview
The ACC Path includes the Certified Professional Coach, the Certified Master Coach, and the Mentor Coaching Programs.
Per the International Coach Federation, ICF, becoming an ACC credentialed coach with involves the following:
- 60 hours of coach training
- 100 hours of coaching experience with 8 or more clients of which 75 or more hours must be paid
- 10 hours of Mentor Coaching
- Submitting a recorded coaching session that passes evaluation for competency
- Taking and passing the Coach Knowledge Assessment, CKA, exam
At the Center for Coaching Certification, this process is supported through completion. It starts with the 60 hours of coach training: the Certified Professional Coach and the Certified Master Coach programs. With each of these programs, an individual session is provided upon completion for your planning and moving forward effectively. To support you engaging coaching clients and completing the hours, we provide information and resources on business and marketing plus offer a free Q&A call each month. When you have a third to a half of your hours completed, the Mentor Coaching program completes the next step and provides additional awareness of the application of your coaching competencies. Included in the process is reviewing your recording or recordings with your mentor coach to pre-evaluate passing the ICF evaluation. The combination of the coach training and the mentor coaching prepare you for the CKA exam.
