\"Make<\/a>The time is here when many are exploring their resolutions, objectives, and goals for the coming year.\u00a0 What does it all mean?\u00a0 What are the experiences that really matter?\u00a0 How do you ensure you take time for yourself to consider, prioritize, and plan?\u00a0 What will it take for you to make it happen?<\/p>\n

In the first chapter of Coaching Perspectives II<\/a> is a process for establishing and achieving goals that parallels the process coaches learn during coaching certification.\u00a0 Coaching is about creating meaningful change and coach training provides steps that include exploring the gigantic dream and opportunities, then analyzing and listing strategies.<\/p>\n

Here is the acronym to help you create your goals:<\/p>\n

G = Gigantic <\/strong>\u2013 think big and dream<\/p>\n

O = Opportunities<\/strong> \u2013 expand your thinking and explore multiple opportunities<\/p>\n

A = Analyzed<\/strong> \u2013 for each possibility analyze the pros, the cons, and the how to\u2019s<\/p>\n

L = Listed<\/strong> \u2013 list your resources, challenges, and action steps<\/a> to move forward<\/p>\n

S = Strategized <\/strong>\u2013 develop your strategies and review your progress to adjust appropriately then celebrate your successes<\/p>\n
