Joann Evans holds a B.S. in microbiology and chemistry. She is also a certified Paralegal. She has 20 years\u2019 experience in quality assurance, control and engineering in fields such as pharmaceutical, medical device, IVD, biotech and blood banking. This blog series is her journey through being coached and then earning her coaching certification.<\/em><\/p>\n

In the first class we also talked about the return on investment (ROI) for coaching. It was nice to hear other students in the class were working and looking to apply the skills from coaching certification<\/a> w\"Moreithin their companies. I think this would be a nice benefit within a company for individuals or even \u00a0groups who are struggling to reach goals. It can help to maintain focus toward goals. It would be a nice resource too for an employee who might be having work issues due to problems at home. Sometimes it\u2019s hard to travel a difficult road alone and just knowing that you have a partner that can help guide to a solution can be comforting.<\/p>\n

I would give the world to know how different my experiences would have been if I would have had a coach through it. Maybe the outcome would have been totally different. Maybe I would have found better solutions through the guidance of the coaching process. I had been so overworked that I was exhausted and tired and could not think straight. \u00a0Maybe I would have found the courage to make changes. In that my mind was stressed, tired and unable to think clearly, it most likely would have made the difference in my confidence.<\/p>\n

I am truly looking forward to our next coach training webinar<\/a> on ethics. \u00a0This has been a very valuable learning experience.<\/p>\n
