\"Get<\/a>Coaching is hot \u2013 more and more companies have coaching programs<\/a>, more and more individuals want a coach, and of course coaches want to connect with the people seeking their services.\u00a0 How do you effectively create opportunities to build your coaching business<\/a>?\u00a0 Get yourself out there!<\/p>\n

There are several tried and true methods to become a recognized and known coach.\u00a0 One of the best is speaking.<\/p>\n

Professional membership organizations look for speakers<\/a>.\u00a0 Some meet weekly and others monthly.\u00a0 When they meet there is a guest speaker.\u00a0 Sometimes you talk for free and sometimes there is a small fee or stipend.\u00a0 In either case it is an opportunity to get in front of people.\u00a0 When you provide valuable insight, content, and\/or motivation then you earn credibility as an expert.\u00a0 Then people will ask you for your card.\u00a0 Sometimes people attending want a coach and sometimes they know someone else who is looking for a coach.<\/p>\n

Keep in mind that online presentations are a great way to connect with people outside your area.\u00a0 For example, at the Center for Coaching Certification we offer free webinars<\/a> and host guest speakers.\u00a0 It is a way for you to be in front of our list and it helps our participants too.<\/p>\n
