\"practice\"<\/a>It makes sense that coach training includes coaching.\u00a0 More than that, it makes sense that it includes coaching, being coached, and observing coaching.\u00a0 Ultimately, learning to do something well calls for actually doing it.\u00a0 The value of being coached to learn coaching includes understanding the experience.\u00a0 In this way the coach is aware of some of what the client is going through during the process.\u00a0 The opportunity to observe coaching further enhances the learning because both sides are observed and each person approaches it differently.<\/p>\n

Perhaps you have heard the expression \u201cpractice makes perfect\u201d and the subsequent alternate version that \u201cperfect practice makes perfect\u201d too.\u00a0 While it is unlikely that the practice be perfect when learning, certainly practicing the right techniques in the right way is how to learn.<\/p>\n

In the Certified Professional Coach program<\/a>, during the coaching practicum the trainer is there for immediate feedback.\u00a0 Additionally, the trainer asks the coach to reflect on what they did well and what they want to improve.\u00a0 Feedback is also provided by the person being coached and the observer.\u00a0 This provides tremendous value because insight from different perspectives expands awareness.<\/p>\n

During the Certified Professional Coach program a specific process is provided and followed.\u00a0 This enhances learning of powerful questions as well as learning process.\u00a0 During the Certified Master Coach program<\/a> the coach and the client design their own process.<\/p>\n
