In this blog series, the case study was set up and is explored in these subsequent posts by considering what happens side-by-side with the 11 Core Competencies.\u00a0 This is the fifth of the posts.<\/p>\n

      Because David explored his goals in all areas of his life, he was more fully aware of both his considerations and his influencing factors.\u00a0 The second session that explored how David would develop the thinking and habits to support his goals laid a solid foundation for his action steps.<\/p>\n

      David then went on to choose his top priorities to work on with his coach.\u00a0 Marie asked him about barriers and how he would move past the barriers.\u00a0 She asked him about his resources for making things happen.<\/p>\n

      In ongoing coaching sessions, Marie partnered with David in his long term strategy, goal setting, and planning.\u00a0 David began designing his specific action steps for moving forward.<\/p>\n

      During each coaching session, Marie checked with David on his progress. \u00a0Marie served as his accountability partner by asking David about how his progress impacted him and what he wanted to do moving forward.<\/p>\n
