Part 1: A Reluctant Coaching Client by Brandi Alvarez<\/p>\n
So why would not I want to do this?\u00a0 I am not sure I do.\u00a0 If there is even the smallest chance I can improve upon myself, if I can become who I want to be, it is worth it.\u00a0 Can the coaching<\/a> process take a glass half empty kind of girl and turn her into a glass half full?\u00a0 Is it possible to change how you see yourself and the world around you?\u00a0 How you interact with others both personally and professionally?\u00a0 I do not know the answer now.\u00a0 I will see as I continue on this coaching journey.<\/p>\n I am now beginning my first full session and this is so hard I am not looking forward to this conversation.\u00a0 I have no idea what I am doing or where I am going.\u00a0 Several minutes into this I know I no longer want to hear the question, \u201cWhat else do you want?\u201d again.\u00a0 Honestly, does anyone know?\u00a0 I am not good at answering these personal questions even though there is no right answer.\u00a0 Am I going about this right, should I be divulging so much or am I not digging deep enough? \u00a0I am being asked about my legacy; honestly I have never thought about it.\u00a0 It really makes me think.\u00a0 Who do I want to be? \u00a0What will people remember about me? \u00a0When I respond I wonder if this is me or just a version I think is me.<\/p>\n One thing I am discovering about myself is I cannot see the future; I have a hard time even visualizing 30 days out.\u00a0 I have always hated that interview question, where do you see yourself in 5 years, 10 years.\u00a0 My honest answer, I do not know. \u00a0I have never taken time out to plan my future.\u00a0 I think I tried it once in high school and I have come nowhere close to that vision.\u00a0 I always feel I don\u2019t know the answer.\u00a0 I knew this coaching<\/a> session was going to be a lot of questions and planned 90 minutes \u2013 have I ever talked about myself that long?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" My Journey through Coaching – Blog 2 of 12 Part 1: A Reluctant Coaching Client by Brandi Alvarez So why would not I want to … <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[16],"tags":[77,48,50,55,88,102,117,103,74,76],"class_list":["post-3807","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-coaching-stories","tag-client","tag-coach","tag-coaching","tag-coaching-services","tag-effective-coaching","tag-goal-setting","tag-life-coaching-certification","tag-opportunities","tag-plan","tag-understand","latest_post"],"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\n\t\t\n
