Halloween is celebrated all over the United States with\u00a0scary costumes and the implication of a trick if you don\u2019t provide treats.\u00a0 What is scary?\u00a0 Is it the ghosts and goblins or is it your to do list?\u00a0 Coaching<\/a> is a tool to move past the ghosts and goblins and in to the life you choose.<\/p>\n

Imagine the goal is the bag of treats and the barriers include things that might trip you up or slow you down.\u00a0 With planning, the evening goes smoothly.\u00a0 Planning in a coaching relationship begins by identifying the goal and considering the barriers.\u00a0 Sometimes client say they are their own biggest barrier.\u00a0 Others share it is procrastination.\u00a0 Prioritization is a common concern.\u00a0 Often time and money challenges are mentioned.<\/p>\n

After defining the barriers, the next coaching question is how to move past these obstacles.\u00a0 Included with exploring options to move past the barriers, coaches ask what skills, tools, relationships, or other resources will be used to move towards goals.\u00a0 Then the coach asks for a plan of action to achieve the defined goals.<\/p>\n

Being scared on Halloween is part of the fun and kids get excited about coming home with a bag full of treats.\u00a0 Coaching<\/a> empowers you to move past being scared and toward the fun of success.<\/p>\n
