Coaching is an investment in yourself and choosing a coach based on their experience, expertise, and process as discussed in the previous blog posts makes sense.\u00a0 After doing some basic self-exploration and researching of prospective coaches, the initial interview process is an opportunity to both understand their coaching<\/a> process and to explore the relationship.<\/p>\n

The success of a coaching relationship is based in a large part on the rapport and trust between coach and client.\u00a0 The conversation during an interview is an indicator of future conversations.\u00a0 During the coaching process, you will share a tremendous amount of personal information and open the door to your own thinking.\u00a0 Knowing you can trust the coach and that you are comfortable having the conversation makes this possible.\u00a0 When choosing a coach, follow your gut instinct during the interview process.\u00a0 Maintain your awareness of your comfort level and ease with the conversation.\u00a0 After an interview with each prospective coach, jot down your thoughts about the conversation.\u00a0 Use these notes when choosing a coach.<\/p>\n
