As we move into 2023, we each have the opportunity to make choices!\u00a0 We can go with the flow and allow things to happen, or we can look at what we control and choose what to work toward.\u00a0 What do you want to do?\u00a0 For those interested in choosing what to work towards, here are 9 steps: \"9<\/p>\n

  1. Reflection<\/a> \u2013 reflect on how you got where you are and what you learned along the way. Consider what you want to do differently.\u00a0 Recognize your wins.\u00a0 Reflect on what you want next.<\/li>\n
  2. Exploration \u2013 explore options, other possibilities, challenges, resources, priorities, and values.<\/li>\n
  3. Define the Dream<\/a> \u2013 be specific and measurable with your goals. Define exactly what you want it to be when you achieve it.\u00a0 Make it a full, rich description that includes what you will see, hear, and feel.<\/li>\n
  4. Strategies \u2013 consider how to approach it. Identify your supporters or stakeholders and ask for input.\u00a0 Think about their attitude and perceptions. \u00a0Include your own attitude and commitment as a strategy.<\/li>\n
  5. Action Plan \u2013 list the specific steps you will take to move forward. Be clear on what you will do, how you will do it, and when you will do it.\u00a0 Define your actions over time.<\/li>\n
  6. Implementation \u2013 take the steps. It will help to plan how you will hold yourself accountable in advance.<\/li>\n
  7. Adjusting \u2013 review what is working and where you want to adjust.<\/li>\n
  8. Follow-through \u2013 stay with it until you achieve what you want.<\/li>\n
  9. Celebrating \u2013 track your progress and celebrate it. Decide in advance how you want to celebrate your success<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
